There are three questions we ask as humans.

Who am I?  Why am I here? What is my purpose?

We attempt to answer those questions ourselves throughout our lives, but those questions cannot be accurately answered until the answers come from our Creator.

We are Luke and Lainey.  We trust and follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. After over 50 years of marriage and with gratitude to God, we are still learning.  On this website, we express our gratitude to Him through art, writing, and photography.  

We have a painting on our porch which states, “We must take adventures to know where we truly belong.”  There is truth in that statement, however, we have come to realize that the “belonging” is not about a place but a “Who.” 

The greatest adventure we have been on together has been living this amazing life by the direction of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He has been, is now, and always will be our Teacher.  In times of challenge and even despair, He is our hope.  

The world does not look the same as it did when we first began our adventures together in the early 70s.  It is tempting to focus on what it has become.

But “where we belong” at this time in our lives and the history of our world, is in sharing hope and encouragement through the creativity God has given us. 

And in sharing, fulfill our purpose and give Him Glory.
