There are three questions we ask as humans.

Who am I?  Why am I here? What is my purpose?

We attempt to answer those questions ourselves throughout our lives, but those questions cannot be accurately answered unless the answers come from our Creator.

We are Luke and Lainey.  We trust and follow our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With gratitude to God, after over 50 years of marriage, we are still learning.  On this website, we express our gratitude to Him through writing, art, and photography.  

We have a painting on our porch which states, “We must take adventures to know where we truly belong.”  There is truth in that statement, however, we have come to realize that the “belonging” is not about a place but a “Who.” 

Our greatest adventure together has been living this amazing life by the direction of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He has always been, and always will be our Teacher.  In times of challenge and even despair, He is our hope.  

The world does not look the same as it did when we first began our adventures together in the early 70s.  It is tempting to focus on what it has become.

But “where we belong” at this time in our lives and the history of our world, is in sharing hope and encouragement through the creativity God has given us. 

And in sharing, fulfill our purpose and give Him Glory.
